Embracing Diversity

You can get the most out of ADHD Skills Coaching when you feel safe and accepted, so I want this environment to feel that way for you.

Some Uncomfortable Truths

Racism, Antisemitism, Misogyny, Homophobia, Transphobia, White Christian Nationalism, & other oppressive and hateful ideologies are pervasive in America. Many people have felt emboldened to be even more vocal about their prejudiced views since the 2016 election of Trump—and now even more so with his 2024 re-election. White supremacy is getting even louder and more visible.

As a white, cisgender, heterosexual man, I cannot claim to know firsthand how unsafe and unseen many people are feeling in our country right now. However, I have close family, friends, colleagues, and clients who are part of these often-targeted communities, so I feel very connected with them and I actively advocate for diversity and acceptance in my community.

A lively protest with multiple individuals holding signs advocating for LGBTQ rights, with messages about Black trans lives, pride, and gender equality. The crowd includes people wearing masks, showcasing diverse support for the LGBTQ community, set against a backdrop of trees and buildings.

This sign can be found in noticeable spots on my website, social media profiles, emails, and in my Zoom backdrop. It serves as a welcome to people in BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, reminding them that they are safe and welcome here.
